Adwords... is it helping us?

We are trying very hard to get noticed in Google without spending a fortune. Adwords seemed like a good idea and we have been using the service for 2 months now.

With only a budget of £35 a month, the adwords have brought us some traffic but not enough.

We understand that £35 is only a small budget, but only 20% of Google traffic clicks on the links from the adwords.... 80% click on the links from the generic listings.

This is our aim - we want to get listed high within the generic listings.

We are currently building a page of links which lists other websites which we recommend. We are looking for established womens designer / fashionable clothing websites. If you know of any, or own one, please drop us an email at mail@clothesmaketheman.co.uk and we will more than happily recommend your website on our site and in return im sure you would do the same for us.

We got a call today from a company called Seek.net. Seek.net are a company which receommends internet sites for internet shoppers. They sell around 3 million books a year and are in the top selling book within Tesco and Sainsburys. They viewed our website and thought it was fantastic. They liked the site's very easy to use system and uncluttered layout. We were very happy with this as we spent a long time creating the site, to make sure it is very user friendly as possible.

When we got the news that we are allowed to stock Seventyseven we got extremely excited. Seventyseven is a new funky brand which is highly featured in FHM. The TV show 'Skins' uses many of the Seventyseven garments on their actors.
